Boat Maintenance – Boat Wash

✅ Boat Wash
1) Rinse First (Remove loose dirt & salt)

• Use fresh water
• Start from top → down
• Salt removal is most important after sea use

2) Use Marine Boat Wash Shampoo

✅ Best type: pH neutral / salt-removing

• Mix in bucket (as per label)
• Use soft sponge / microfiber wash mitt
• Don’t use harsh home detergents (can damage wax/gelcoat)

3) Scrub Lightly

• Clean deck, hull, rails
• For non-skid deck: use soft deck brush

4) Rinse Properly

• Don’t leave soap to dry
• Rinse fully with clean water

5) Dry & Finish

• Use microfiber towel / chamois
• Prevents water spots
